The text has multiple readings: * If read as Urufieis, perhaps related to Latin Orfius or Oscan ππππ πππ (uruviis) * If read as Urugieis, perhaps related to Latin Orcius or Latin *Urgius, a name which may be attested in CIL XI 6689 and the term Urgulanius. * It has also been read as Rufieis. If this theory is accepted, it may be related to Latin RΕ«fius.
